Sure like to hear some noise about this bike. Am in the throes of deciding between it and a Night Rod.....kinda like the mid controls. A friend of mine picked up an '06 Night Rod and put Heritage bars on it.....very comfortable. I've been "warming up" to the VRod slowly.....and now think I'm ready for a H2O-cooled rocket!
Any help from you owners? Give me some input.......please!

well, i have an air cooled bike and i also have a vrscse....i can tell you this....the v-rod is an outstanding bike....wish i had bought one sooner.....the feel and performance it great!...if you get a v-rod...you will love it....it is just a fun bike to ride!

I prefer the X to the D, as the engine is bigger and the rear tire fits. Although it is a 240, and I'm not one for the 240, all of the '07's have the wide frame for the 5 gallon tank and the '07 Ds make it look like the rear tire is a bicycle tire to me, even though it is a 180.
