I've been thinking of trading my 06 Road Glide on a 2012 NRS. Glad to read that three other guys have traded there heavy bikes in on them and don't reget it.
I think my long distance ride days are done, so a hot rod to ride back and forth to work I think would be a better way to go.
How does it feel now with the bars and pegs moved closer to the rider? I'm 5'7" and it was a bit of a stretch on the older versions.
Now I have to go see if I can find a dealership in my area that has one.
Just brought this fantastic machine home from the dealer. Smooth ride, very powerful, handles well and almost silent (COmpetition Exhaust on order with Fuel Pack). I was aprehensive as a softail owner about getting a NightRod, but after months of research and a few test rides, I bought one. So far, so good!

Excellent bike Mike, congrats!
Did you also consider the V Rod Muscle? If you did, what made you decide to go with the NRS?
Anybody else consider the Muscle vs the NRS and might have some words of wisdom on the choice?
I must admit I do ride a wide glide but before I bought it looked at so many V rods and I really like them a lot but my other half says I'm to old for something like that I beg to differ one day there will one parked along side of the WG safe riding and I will be back.
