Hello all, this is my first post on this forum and im new to the forum as well as harleys. have ridden street bikes for the past 4 years and happily made the move to harleys... anyways i bought a 2008 night rod special recently and everything on the bike works perfectly except i am getting a check engine light. I followed the instructions for obtaining the code and i got a p0562 code which i believe has something to do with battery voltage... any ideas on how to resolve this issue or why it would be happening? bike starts fine and battery seems to be healthy. thanks for the help.

1st thing I would check is all your grounds this could be causing the weird readings .

 

ok thanks for the advice ill check all of those.. it only happens every couple rides for example the light and code were on a couple days ago and have yet to show again... ill look into the grounds tho, thanks.
