looks beautiful. remember if you mess with the exhaust get the propper programs for the computer or you will end up loosing power and possibly damaging the engine(warranty void). i haven't seen too many exhaust systems that tickle my fancy yet. the closest thing that caught my eye was all looks not performance. i prefer power and i am happy with my stock tuned exhaust.
the biggest thing i see on all these sight is how people complain about there bike after it breaks down after they force feed the motor with a turbo or supercharger. there is also the ones who complain about gas milage, after putting a bigger thottle body on stage 2 cams and larger injectors. they own the bike for a year or so then do nothing but bad mouth it when they can't afford to maintain it.

sorry about the rant it just heats me up when the first thing some one says to me is that i need to change my exhaust. i have owned my NRS since oct 2006 and i haven't been nice to it one day that i ride it. every thing that has gone wrong that has stopped me from riding was my fault. every thing else was just convenience problem nothing major. 32,000 and still going strong all stock. enjoy the ride. don't keep her penned up in a garage.

I recommend checking out Toxic Inc. I got the VLUX and they sound great.

Hey bro don't worry about the rant. I am a firm believer in tuning and performance. I don't want my bike making alot of noise and going nowhere !

Killer looking bike. I just wish Harley would pump it up and make it a giant killer. Take a Diavel, V-Max, Rocket-III, and the blend them up and KILL IT. And put it in a decent (no, good) handling, neutral riding position that is easy for people to adapt to. The V-rod is almost so many things...

Well, some things to consider about changing the exhaust: the stock pipes are heavy. You'll save about 30 lbs by going with a quality aftermaket set of pipes. That right there is significant. Also, I felt the bike was way too quiet with the stock system. I also wasn't a fan of the look. Lastly, a 2-into-1 setup will yield more power... Those are the reasons I changed my pipes as my first mod.

Yeah they sound great but keep in mind, they're proven to lose power...

Too bad Harley is not concerned with those things. Probably because 99% of the company's demographic aren't concerned with performance. The bike is great because it is the most well rounded in it's class.

well regular harley usually are not concidered performance so why worry about how they affect the bikes just as long as it chrome and loud. i guess i like my bike quiet and since it still be over 600 pound with the stock exhaust or aftermarket that 300 pounds doesn't make a diffence to unless i was racing other vrods. those muscle wheel look good on your bike. like the stance as well. good looking bike. just don't think my short a$$ legs would clear that rear exhaust header.
