There are tons of models of VRSC (V Rods) out there. There is the VRSCA, VRSCB, VRSCD, VRSCDX, VRSCA/W, and the R model. For the year you are talking about I would think it's probably the A model.

I See In The Stats The Fuel Tank Is Under The Seat VRSCA Has 3.7 Gal,
And The VRSCR Has 5 Gal Under The Seat
Now All I Have To Do Is Find A Good One, Thats Not Pitting Thats So Sad.

I find the V rod less "top heavy" than most other Harleys. They have a lower center of gravity. And yes they carry the fuel under the seat.
The 5 gallon tank again is on the newer W (07 and up)
