What Is A V rod Model ? And Where Can It Be Found ?
I Was Thinking All V Rods Was The Same , Am I Wrong ?
I Am Looking At An 03 Silver V Rod.
Can Some Of You Nice Folks Help Me Out Here On The Models Of The V Rod
There are tons of models of VRSC (V Rods) out there. There is the VRSCA, VRSCB, VRSCD, VRSCDX, VRSCA/W, and the R model. For the year you are talking about I would think it's probably the A model.

For That Info, I Was On An 06 Red & Silver And Man It Was A Bad Fit For Me Coming Off An 03 Heritage.
Did Not Have Forward Foot Controls The Handle Bars Was To Far Away From Me I Hade To Lean Way Forward Just To Reach Them , My GOD What An Uncomfortable Bike.
I Have No Idea How 1700 Miles Was Put On It, The Front Foot Pegs Kept Hitting My Inner Lower Leg.
What A Crappy Fit, I Never Thought It Would Be Like That, + Very Top Heavy It Would Be Real Easy To Drop.
Any Input On What I Just Said ???
I Told The Guy Thanks But No Thanks

What Model Do You Think Is Good For Me The Most Comfortable Coming Off My 03 Heritage Softail ?
Would It Be The 03 "A"
Thanks

All V Rod "A's" had forward control, maybe you sat on an "R" midcontrols and short reach bars.
In 2007 the V ROD changed to "W" (wide) and added the 240 rear tire. The frame also changed and the seat became wider, withg forward controls.
I loved my 07 W for comfort and I came off softails (FATBOY) and Dyna.
The V ROD "DX" has a longish reach to the bars and forward controls, but the bars for me are not comfortable.
I now have a muscle "F" and I did add a Bar riser to lift the bars a bit closer, and it now fits much like my old 07 W.
