muscle riser for 2009 muscle Vrod?
Hi
I have a question to ask if I may?
I have a 2009 muscle Vrod-VRSCF.
I wanted to customize my handlebars by taking off the stock ones and putting on drag bars. Theres a company in Australia that makes drag rollerbars specifically suited for any muscle vrod/nightrod. My question is if I was to customize any dragbars on a muscle VRod, any idea if I would need some sort of customized or aftermarket riser to fit the new dragbars? The original risers that come with the bike, from what I gather are either a 1' or 1-1/4' aluminum block. Or could I just use the stock riser that comes on the bike and use that for the new install dragbar? Or will the dragbars just be ready to go, right out the box just install and done?..hmmm?
Another question I have is since Im putting on aftermarket rollerbars, do I even need to use the the original stock riser that came with the bike? Not really sure? Hoping to become a HD bike mechanic someday?...well see, lol?.
The company is called Burleighbars.com, in case you were wondering unless you guys already knew?
The Dimensions are as follows for the aftermarket dragbars for the VRod I was looking at:
Rise: 9"
Size: 1-1/2'- Roller Bars
Width: 32"
Height :9"
Pullback: 12-1/2"
Thanks,
Any info would be so appreciated. Keep up the great work.
Thank you
