Do slipons need a new tune?
Hey guys,
Buddy of mine has an 04 VRSCA. He wants to get some V&H slipons to wake up the sound of the bike so it doesn't sound like a damn sewing machine. Does he need a new tune from Harley afterwards to get everything running right?
Because I know I need one once I do the air cleaner and pipes on my sportster, but neither one of us was sure with the Vrods. Thanks for the help!

If you're just doing the exhaust and stock air filter, you don't have to retune. If your changing exhaust and air filter then yes you need to tune. Harley offered a stage 1 download to reflash the ECM for air filter exhaust combo.
