Hey Everyone I'm Jox818... it was supposed to be JBox818 but I missed out on the "B"
oh well... The first ride I remember on a Harley I had my legs on the tank and my feet didn't touch the bars, I was a little guy back in 1993 or so but my grandpa would take me out on the touring every time I asked.. After High school I got a sportster 883, sold it then moved to Alaska for a few years, I just got back June of 2014 and picked up an 02 FXDL, Silver and Chrome! and a stack of receipts since new, every service done in the 7,800 babied miles it had on it. It is mostly stock, owned by a meticulous female rider who added a pile of chrome, which I love. I searched for 3 months before finding this diamond.
I added 8" chrome risers for comfort, being six and a half feet tall, some adjustment was needed. I also put half inch holes in the muffler plates, turning my sewing machine from an invisible bike to something that can be heard... kind of.
I have been googleing a bunch of questions and found most answers on this forum so I thought I would join the fun and keep my eyes out for new and old wisdom.
Thanks for all the great stuff so far and I look forward to being around!
