First Harley but about my 20th motorcycle, why so long before getting one you ask?
I ride mostly off road, some trail and off road racing (GP's, ISDE's and local club racing) Got my start in 1972 on a Yamaha JT1 60cc enduro in Kodiak Alaska and worked my way up to a 1980 Honda CB750F that I bought new after I graduated HS.
I have buddys that have always ridden Harleys and if I sold a few of my bikes I may have got one sooner but I'm here now after I bought a 2012 Switchback. Looking forward to gleaning information from this forum.
Congratulations on joining the Harley family. Hope you get some good riding weather soon. I moved from the Portland area (Tualatin) about 1.5 year ago.
Thanks TriGeezer, I had a house on Cherry Lane right off Boones Ferry Rd from 1996-2004, I know Tualatin well having worked and lived there over the years since 1985. There's riding weather almost everyday...maybe for a few minutes but it's there
