Living in Dogtown, recently picked up a very nice, stock, silver 2006 XL1200R from Santa Barbara. I've owned a shitload of vintage Japanese bikes throughout the past 10 years, but this is my first HD (and first "modern" bike).
I was bit weary of selling my XS650 to buy the Sporty, since it had a lot of sentimental value built up in the work I put into it, but I honestly haven't looked back. Love the Roadster! Corners and brakes so much better, torquey... total game changer.
