hey guys, just a quick note to say hi... from beautiful Vancouver BC. its that time of year again when a bikers mind turns to oil changes, new tires, and well endowed back rests in tiny tank tops.
i am riding a 98 flht, changed it from black to burnt orange last year. Just installed new brakes on the front, still squeaking cuz they are not set yet. Getting a new rear tire next wednesday, the old one is rather smooth and flat on the bottom. noticed a chunk out of the rubber yesterday, so thought maybe i should get a new one before it blows at 70 mph on the way to work. i am currently a hose monkey for a local company, doing mobile repairs on construction equipment (excavators, graders, packers and the like).
i bought the ride in Mississippi in 2001 for a song (but thats a story for another time)it had less than 18000 on it, now its at 75000. Every mile has been an adventure, its not the destination but the journey. i will try to figure out how to post a coupla pix.
