Been reading this forum on and off for a couple of years, and learned a lot. I got a new ride and figured it was time to make it official. I have an opinion and am not afraid to use it, but I like to learn from others experience as well as my own. I spent years riding pedal bikes 5-8k miles a year on endurance events (280-360 miles in 3-4 days) but never had the two wheeled ride I wanted since I was a kid. A classic looking Harley.
After a recent trip to California and a drive up the PCH, I called the school where I took Riders Edge course and ordered a couple of 1 on 1 lessons as a refresher and went to the dealer and ordered a Morocco Gold Pearl Road King with laced spoke wheels and whitewalls. It's almost ready for the 1000-mile service and is getting a Stage 1 upgrade at the same time.
Have been looking for info on traveling, gear, maintenance and who knows what else... Thanks in advance.
