Hey everyone,
Just wanted to drop in and say Hey!
I have just gotten my first Harley, a 2004 FXDWGI, and couldn't be happier. She's the red metallic with deep red tribal flames.
I started riding again about 9 months ago. I used to ride offroad about 20 yrs ago (a little steet illegally) but decided to go to the street this time.
When I started back this time I started out with a 97 Suzuki Intruder 800, moved to a Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic after about 3 months. Did a lot of custom work to the V Star while riding it. I've always loved the lines and stance of the WG and realize all of the work that I was doing to the Yamaha was trying to turn it into a WG (just not the same).
Just traded both in on the Wide Glide this week. I've already put a little over 500 miles on the WG since Wed.
I'll be doing some custom work on the new one over time as $ allows.
