I'm 52 soon and just acquired my first Harley, an '04 FatBoy with V&H Longshot HS pipes and a few other trinkets added on. The first few hours on the bike have been a real learning experience. Just getting my sea legs back as it were. The upside is I'm feeling more and more comfortable with each passing day.
