I took delivery of an '05 FXD on June 26th and have been reading this forum ever since. Glad I found this place. Seems like a great bunch of guys and gals with a boat load of info. I tend to be more of a reader than a poster in most of the forums I belong to, but once again felt that I should not go on reading and taking pointers from others without at least introducing myself.
I have been riding metric sport bikes for 20yrs. After all those years of laughing at the cruiser riders, especially those owning Harley's, here I am and I have never been happier with my ride. Best part is, after all these years, my wife likes to ride with me again and although I don't put thousands of miles on in a season, two up riding is a pleasure too.
I have one photo posted in the gallery with my "ugly mug".
Ride Safe!
