I'm Jules from down in Louisiana. I ride a 2005 FLSTC. Ran into this Forum because I changed seats (saddleman) to get me closer to the ground and now the heat is blistering my right thigh. Trying to find a solution and saw one of the sponsors sold a leather heat protector. I just added a Hoppe Fairing and really like it so the bike is shaping up nicely for touring. Any help with the heat issue would be appreaciated.

i had the same problem with my night train...i got the "saddle sheilds" from kuryakyn, it made a world of difference....u can see them in the pic...they slightly cover the rear cylinder head.
They are availible in clear, and reflective smoke....i have the reflective smoke
