Im Mike H. I bought my first Harley a few days ago. Its a 97 883XL. But for the price, it got me away from a crotch rocket. I'l never go back to a rice burner.

I'm Jules from down in Louisiana. I ride a 2005 FLSTC. Ran into this Forum because I changed seats (saddleman) to get me closer to the ground and now the heat is blistering my right thigh. Trying to find a solution and saw one of the sponsors sold a leather heat protector. I just added a Hoppe Fairing and really like it so the bike is shaping up nicely for touring. Any help with the heat issue would be appreaciated.
