Hello from Gallatin, TN
New guy checking in with a 2007 1200N. First Harley and first bike in more than 25 years. I got the bug bad for a motorcycle last year and became practically obsessed with getting a bobber style bike but it looked like it wasn't going to happen until HD came out with the 1200 Nightster at the last minute. I could see that this bike would just need to lose the front fender and add a pair of whitewalls and apehangers and I would be just about there. I ordered the bike in Feb and it came in three weeks later, wow, couldn't be happier.
I kept the mid-mounted controls for cornering but added highway pegs for style and comfort, best decision I made. Has a really super comfortable cruising position. I thought the stock pipes were kind of raspy sounding so I put on a set of SE slip ons, now it has a nice Harley rumble.
