Hello all. My name is Robert. I live in Newport Beach, California. I ride a 2016 Softail Fat Boy Standard and have a Dyna Glide as well.
I am an author and a ghostwriter (mostly ghostwriter). I write memoirs, novels, business books and am a part time journalist.
Started riding at age 15 on an Allstate Moped and have owned 6 HDs since. I quit riding in the early 90s when the California helmet law went into affect, but got back into it 13 years later when I missed riding too much.
Right now, I'm trying to strip down the Fat Boy of ANY EPA related equipment. Took out cats, put on Vance Hines and took back paraphenalia off stock breather. Anything else I'm missing? I'd like to keep it close to stock (it's a 103) and not break into the engine, but do want to take anything off I don't need.
Today, we are cruising up to Julian east of San Diego, about a 250 mile round trip. I also love riding up Hwy. 1 to Montery and Big Sur, etc. Safe and happy riding to you all!
