Service
Hay how you all doing? I have been riding and dealing with service people since I was 14 yrs old I will be 50 next BD. Harley service is mostly good but today I was told something that made me question my longe time loyalty to Harley Davidson and factory service. I have a 1988 sporty and was having a problem shifting on my ride to work today. It did not want to go into 2nd. any way after a little field adjustment I made it ok. I call my local HD service dpt. I live in Las Vegas so there are several. I told them my problem and was told that they did not work on bikes older than 10 years. WHAT THE ####? Any one ever hear that from a HD service rep before? They acted like that was nothing new. I did call another shop and will have it checked tomorrow but if this is a trend I think you all need to know it.

Welcome from sunny Arizona... Right down the road from ya. I never heard of a dealer refusing to work on a bike over a certain age. Their service dept must have still been wearing short pants 10 years ago...

By the way, I have not heard this from any of my dealings with Harley. You might want to post this question in the general question section, as you can see most of the responses here are of the Welcome nature.
