i'm a new member to this forum and basically pretty new to long distance riding. i've had rides pretty much for 30 yrs but this is my first dream bike and i'm going on a long trip. i just got back from the smokies and the blueridge parkway and now i'm going west. my question is what is the best way to enter the sequoia national park from death valley with a good route north to the eastern edge of yosemite. i see 395 but that doesn't appear to get into sequoia. as a matter of fact, there doesn't seem to be any access to sequoia from the east as far as my atlas goes. so any help i can get would be of help. or any other tips that might seem important. i'm 62, retired, poor, and pretty nervous about this trip. so any info would be appreciated.
