Just wanted to introduce myself - I have a 2000 Road King Classic - Stage 2 and the only stock item left on the bike is the frame! I live 25 miles north of New York City in the 'burbs! There are so many amazing places to ride here and I take full advantage of all the amazing scenery here in the Hudson Valley. I don't ride in NYC too much as there are way too many potholes and crazy cab drivers and other lunatics who have no clue how to drive. I prefer open roads and long trips up to the mountains in upstate NY, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.
This coming Spring, I'm planning a trip out to Colorado, taking in all the sights as we go. If all goes according to plan, we'll spend 3 weeks on the road, spending a combination of nights under the stars with a few scattered nights in some hotels (I'm not 19 anymore!) - Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself here - I see lots of great info, tips, etc. so far and I'm looking forward to lots more. Take care, safe travels and keep on rollin'!
