Hi, You have a nice place here. I hope to hang out here for a while and make some friends and learn something about everyone's biking experiences.
I am 48 years old and a former Field Artillery Officer. I own a small business.
I reside in Southern New Jersey where I get together with my brother and some friends and ride the Jersey Pine Barrens. My brother and I have identical 2002 Road King Classics. Before that I rode a 1984 Harley "Roadster". My first ride was a 1981 Yamaha 650. We are getting ready for Daytona in a few weeks.
In addition to riding bikes I like to hang out at the nearby rodeo and sail my small boat, play golf and shoot my guns. I enjoy country music and the funniest thing about me is that I bear a striking resemblance to a country music star which often creates a stir when I go some place. It can be pretty funny sometimes.
Sounds like your tastes are right in line with mine...love to play golf, boat, and shoot. Post some pics when you get the chance, and be sure to take that camera to Daytona so we can live vicariously through you when you return!
My friends and I get a big kick out of it. It makes life a little more interesting and funny and that's a good thing in the stressful world we live in. I try not to take myself or life in general too seriously.
This is the 1984 Harley "Roadster" I mentioned, out back of my shack
From what I understand it is a rare bike. I have never seen another one. My brother is in the process of restoring it.
