Thanks alot for all of the replies. Also thank you all very much for the warm welcome. It is how I thought I would be welcomed by Harley people. My Uncle has been into Harleys all my life, so I know that bikers are some of the best people around, and most are very patriotic which is important to me being in the Military.

A friend of mine told me last night that some of the Japanese bikes are better quality than Harleys, and I should get one because of that, and that they are more inexpensive.
I got to thinking about it, and I just would feel weird answering someone asking me what kind of bike I have and saying Honda or something like that.
Part of it is just owning a Harley. Harleys are like Apple pie, and Cheverolets, they are the all American bike.
I just could not see myself on an import bike.

Happy you found us...enjoy the site. I know you will enjoy riding a Harley it puts a smile[sm=smiley1.gif] on my face everytime. Springer is right about putting some thinking into what you want the Harley for,2 up, touring, or just going for short trips on two bikes(one for you and one for her) etc. Good luck.
