Long time lurker, 30+ years on the dirt, 25+ years riding on the road, and finally have my Harley. Crotch rockets to cruisers around 34 years young. Last bike was a Suzuki Volusia that no matter how I made it "look like Harley", it simply never would be. So yes I know there is a sickness among us when it comes to mods.... :-) Still put 20K miles on her in a 2.3 years.
June 8, 2017 my life changed. It was love at first site I tell ya. She was sitting on a lonely web page looking for a new owner. Shiny and mostly untouched with mods and sitting at 5127 miles. She even smelt kind of new when I met her. SPOTLESS and appeared to be a garage queen. Black pearl that looked "black" until the sun hit her and the sparkles just jumped out at me. Me and the owner worked out the deal and I drove her home on cloud 9 just last Thursday.
What is she? 2008 HD Dyna Lowrider. What's on the horizon? I have shortitis. Handlebar replacement and that's probably about it. Love the sound of the stock exhaust and she has enough chrome to satisfy me for a while...but we'll see. I'll post a pic some time today.
