I'm buying the Thnudermax electronic system with O2 sensorsfor my bike, engine will be a 120 Cubic inch. They tell me I'll have to pay to have it "Dyno" in. What the hell is dyno? ThunderMax is fully auto.
Ok, The auto tume function will compensate for small adjustments, but going from stock to 120" is a huge leap. Not necessary to dyno, but you will definitely be playing witht he system for a while, downloading information, and then making adjustments based on what you see in the downloads, then uploading changes to get the system close.
Nothing is full autotune...You gotta start close to where the system needs to be and then it will tune in and adjust to get the A/F right. With a 120" engine you are going to have to play with the timing, A/F, IAC, TPS and other items.
What kinda build are you doing to get it to 120"?
