My name is Loek (pronounced Look) and I am living in the Netherlands. For to long I have waited to get my motorcycle license but now is the time to buy a model from the legendary bike maker.
Next step was waiting further more for the 2018 model because of Harley's strategy by adding or changing 50/100 models the next 5/10 years and not wanted to by a model what could be 'old' within a couple of months. Made some miles on trying bikes and I shall step directly to the Dyna, if still available, model Lowrider 2018, hoping that it will be affordable. It was nice to read a lot on this forum, so close to the well, assuming that there are major changes to notice next Tuesday on their site.
To be honest prices in our country are sky high in relation to what US citizens are paying for a Harley. For example the Lowrider should cost around $ 23.000 in compare list $ 14.790............,so we have to have deeper pockets to drive a Harley bike hoping that our government will spent the extra taxes building save and nice roads in our small country.
So I am very exited and would like to thank all on this forum who have contributed there vision or estimates about the next steps Harley is going to make (hopefully) and still guarding there authenticity on the looks, sound, feeling and happiness riding there bikes, or mine bike .....
Welcome from central Wisconsin. You should consider a used garage Queen. You'll save money, get it with modifications already made, and many look brand new.
Thanks and understood but prizes used are sky high overhere so the difference with the new price is to small...... I have seen many Kings and Queens with very low km's but prizes....
Have to wait what developments there are and what my net price is going to be, then I can decide.
