I'm familiar with Cedar also. I drove through there several times in 2003. I was here for the invasion. And yes---it's getting cold again; which means it's time for me leave.

When my Trans Co. [5k tankers (bombs on wheels)] hit Cedar it was nothing.......we were some of the first that came in to call it home. I don't miss it but I will never ever forget it.
My first night back at Victory it was something like 37 degrees............I thought I was gonna freeze my keester off as we had no heat and only the basics we had brought in as our Con-Xs had not yet arrived.
Take care of your self SFC......let us know when you demob.
Glad to see some other dusty veterans on the forum. I spent '03 crawling from Kuwait to Mosul with the 101st, was a medic with the 1/502nd. Now I'm back as a civ! Good luck with the '06 Bob, it's a sweet looking ride, but as others have said, you won't go wrong with any Harley. Stay safe, eyes on target, and thanks for your time in the fight.
