Newish rider

Greetings! My name is Betsy, and I am going to start riding again after a greater than 10 year hiatus for kids, family, and all that stuff we gals do along with our careers. I travel a lot for work and on some downtime I checked out an Eagle Rider store and something just clicked. I took the MSF course to sharpen up my skills and I am now in the market for a mid-size cruiser. My plan is to join as many forums as I can to learn what people think about the different brands. I am in sales and marketing, so I am usually pretty good at sniffing B.S.!!! I do not plan to purchase until spring, unless I can swing a really good deal as the season winds down. I do not know if I will end up with a Harley-Davidson, but I am close enough to Milwaukee that I have to at least give it a try. I hope you guys are open to some basic questions!

Good luck finding the right bike, whatever brand you choose. Just remember that it's your decision, and you should have what you want. Also, remember that things have changed in the last 10 years. There are a lot more drivers on the phone, and they're not watching out for you. Enjoy the ride, but be careful.
