Been lurking off and on for a bit and thought I'd actually sign up finally and PARTICIPATE in some conversation instead of just gleaning info when I need it. I'm newly back on two wheels after a near-death experience early this year. I'm a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy with 18 years plus a couple in the Army prior, married, 3 boys living up north of San Diego County til the Navy gets done with me and I can move back to beautiful North Carolina. My current ride is an '06 Electra Standard, 21" 80 spoke front with 16" matching spokes in the rear, TC88 5SPD ported and polished with Andys cams and a Power Commander III. I totalled my Honda-Davidson in the spring and decided to graduate back to a real V-twin.
