After 10 years on my 2008 Fat Boy Anniversary I’ve ordered a 2018 Street Glide Anniversary, and I’m counting the days until I can get it on the road, sometime in March/April. Loved my old Fat Boy, but now it’s time to upgrade and the FLHX Anv is gorgeous IMO.
I have some things on my wishlist for the new bike, such as a new seat (I’m 6’3) and slip-ons. At this time of year there aren’t many possibilities to see, try or hear some of the options, and so far this forum, google and youtube are my friends😊
So much to read and learn here on the forum and so many experienced people. Thank you for your time to describe and suggest things on every topic there is on our great bikes.
Congratulations of your new ride. Those anniversary street glides are beautiful bikes IMO. Take what you read here on the forums with a grain of salt. Don't get caught up in the negative comments about the M8's. There is a lot of good info out here on the forums, but sometimes after reading posts I get a little nervous if i made the right choice. But then I go get on my new M8 and that all goes away.
Enjoy your ride.
