I could be wrong, I seem to see many 1 year old BO's with around 4000km on the clock for sale............... I'm unsure why......
Personally I'd own either
I started with a Used FXST with low miles. There is loads of information/video's of the weak points of each motor. The TC 88's have cam chain tensioner issues. I plan to upgrade to gear cams in the spring.
Along with regular service and maintenance, I don't ride it like a sports bike just cruise along and enjoy the ride. So with the upgrades and care taken, I'll have a reliable ride that will see me out for years.
