Hello all! So happy to join this forum. Heard great things, so thought it was time to join up.
Last August I bought my first HD ('15 Moroccan Gold RK). Best. Ride. Ever!
My very good buds patiently convinced me that at 64 yrs old I needed a touring model HD instead of the non-USA bikes i had been riding. they espoused the many benefits to riding the legendary RK. Dennis ('14 Street Glide) told me "they don't call it Road KING for nothing!" He was spot on! John ('05 RK and '16 Indian Road Master) and Dennis sacrificed an entire weekend riding down to National City from Fresno to buy my beauty...going so far as to cover hotel costs for me! We've been on numerous rides since....some great Brothers! Also I would be remiss not to give my beautiful wife much love for her support. She's awesome!
I've had the bike for 10 months. So far I've added a Mustang seat and fork-mounted wind defectors. Next up: rider and passenger backrests, luggage rack, some V&H slip-ons (leaning toward Eliminator 400). No doubt my list will go on and on and on....
