Update - I've decided to just get a great used bike instead of waiting for the '08's to come out and hope for a fix. No more new H-D's for me - ever! I will NOT support a company that treats its customers like this. To me, that just aint the American Way.

Thank you all again for the warm words of welcom! Y'all make me feel right at home here.

I just finalized the purchase of the sweetest little '82 FXE you ever saw! 13,000 miles & essentially bone-stock and original down to the paint!Just a few little chrome parts that can be easily replaced with OEM stuff.To me, bling ain't the thing! Found it on Ebay. Will buy any and all parts at swapmeetsor from ebay etc. in the future. It's bye bye dealerships forever for me!

Keep themetal up & the rubber down,
