Was first around this forum around 2006 after buying a new Ultra Classic. Life happened and ended up selling it after a few years. Really loved the bike (and the forum). Bought a 1996 Ultra Classic a few years ago and, once again life gets in the way.
This time, I'm changing things up a bit. I really have missed wrenching, so I bought something to work with over the winter. Most of the wrenching will be minor disassembly and inspection. It looks like an early 2000's Heritage Softail, but doesn't have a HD frame. It's an Evo-style frame with a Twin Cam shoehorned into it. Motor was built by Flora Racing Heads and has a Twin Cam bottom end, jugs filled with custom J&E pistons, heads massaged by Flora Racing, S&S Super G (bored). 114ci, not stroked. I'll post more details as I get a chance. I've reached out to Flora hoping to get some more info but since it's a 13 year old build, I don't have high hopes. I'll be here on the forum quite a bit ...definitely have a lot to learn.
