Default Electrical problem!

I have a 2004 Road King, while riding the engine shut down and restarted while still in gear a half a dozen times now I've got nothing dash and lights are out. Turn ignition switch to the left and I get dash, front fender lights and odometer reading. I changed ignition switch no change, cleaned battery post's and checked voltage. Battery voltage going to switch and left side less than 1 volt on right side. Any idea What the hell is going on? Russ

Welcome to the forums from Ontario, Canada, had a similar problem like that on 2003 RK, I think it was one of 3 relay's, they were all the same part number, that was a few beers ago, I mean years ago, but post in the electrical section, good luck
