Hello All,
I just wanted to do an intro and say an official hello to everyone here. My name is Rick and I'm from the Tampa Bay area. I'm 58 years old and I've pretty much been riding since my teenage years. In all that time, believe it or not, I've never owned a Harley. This one is my first, but dang sure not the last, I'm hooked. I've pretty much been riding Triumphs & Moto Guzzi's for at least the last 20 years, with a few Japanese bikes thrown in there from time to time. I've been primarily riding naked roadsters, touring and sport touring machines. Last year I attended an event at the local Harley dealership where I had the opportunity to ride a Road King and a Dyna, loved them both. Since then I've been doing my research and I've been keeping an eye out for a nice deal on a Dyna.
I finally found the one last week and I brought it home. Its a 2009 FXDC Super Glide Custom with 6600 miles on the OD. The previous owner had meticulously maintained this bike in every way possible, garage kept and never in the rain, not a scratch or dent on it. It was his Sunday ride and I really feel fortunate to have found it. The bike will be garaged with my 16 Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 and my 17 Kawasaki Versys for now. But, I've only been riding the Harley ever since I brought it home last week and I just love this thing. I just cant seem to get enough of it. Anyway, I just wanted to do an intro and I'm hoping to learn a lot from you guys here, thanks for having me..
