high rpms while idling
while starting bike while it is cold it idles high around 1200-1300 rpm and it will not take the throttle unless i feather it also i get alot of black smoke like it is running real rich once i get going down the road it will miss and cut out till it gets good and hot.once i get to a red light and sitting there idling engine will of a sudden rev to 3000rpm (quite embarassing) i have to hold the front brake and let the clutch out then the idle will come down to normal ive changed the heat sensor and crank sensor no help. does the map sensor have anything to do with it?how about the chip in computer that regulates idle could it be bad? this is my first harley and at my wits end its a 2004 dyna low rider fi anyone else have similar problems?sure would like a little advice thanks wink
