Me is here
For those who don't know me, I go by the nickname of Badger both online and off. No real stranger to many bike forums you could say. I seem to be having issues uploading my avatar at the moment, but hopefully I'll get it figured out.
I live in Colorado, own my own business (Badger's Kustom Creations), and have an awesome wife with two great boys. What more could a man ask?
Aside from riding, I do the typical mountain man stuff, hunt, fish, hike, climb, camp, etc.Just sold my '88 Heritage and picked up a '78 Shovel custom. May sound pretty strange to some that I'd sell a newer bike for an older one, but you'd probably just have to know me to understand why hahahaha. The Shovel will undergo some very drastic changes. I've built a rigid frame, I'll be building either a girder or springer front end (haven't decided yet), also all the tins will be built and painted by me too. In short, if its an older scoot without all the computerized nonsense, I don't sub anything out at all, its done in house.
Also have a strange little Kawasaki LTD 550 that I'm going to turn into an alternate fuels chopper. I don't speak Kaw very well, so I might have to sub out some engine work if necessary. That will be seen in the next few months.
But first... I have a ton of customer projects going on too. '73 Sporty restoration, '46 Knuck chop, various tins for either custom paint, repair and paint, or other sheetmetal modifications, orders for custom parts to be made, helmets to be painted, etc. The list goes on and on, but I've got a great family helping out when they can.
If I can get some time, I'll try and post up some 'How-To' stuff which is what I've steadily become sort of famous for I guess. Until then, I'll surf around and check back when I can. Take care, ride safe and talk to you all later.
