Well I guess everyone is kinda curious as to what happened to me and my project. Here we are almost a year later and I still haven't gotten very far on the build. So far I've gotten the engine up from Montana and have continued gathering parts. Right now it's 11:30 at night, I'm sitting here in my "office" listening to some tunes, drinking pop (I haven't drank liquor in over 16 years), and looking over at the engine sitting in the corner waiting for me to get the rest of the parts together and get her finished. I got rid of the rigid frame as I wouldn't be able to ride it comfortably and now I'm on the hunt for a proper frame for the old girl. I got a wiring harness for it that I promptly cut to ribbons in an effort to minimize and update it. I've also got a Buell Blast that I'm cannibalizing for such things as the speedometer (I've sorted that mess of wiring out) and it will remove a couple things I would be otherwise be on the search for. I just wish I could use the tires off it as they have 0 miles on them I bought them for the Buell but wound up with more issues than what it is worth to fix.
The wiring in this pic is how it was when I was figuring where everything went, I've since chopped it apart and am putting it back together the way I want.
Just in case you have not done both of these two important items!
Be sure to add an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER set up for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post with your USER name.
And most importantly a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike model, year, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with that others see at the bottom.
This enables others to know your exact model if you ever ask a question or another member interested in it may ask you a question about it. Your all set.... Enjoy the ride! ______________
