Why do some of the Mod links have the @ in front and have a circle around then and some do not?

Hi there my friend......... if you put the "@" symbol (without the quotes) in front of anyone's User Name with NO spaces, you are doing what is called tagging them. This means, the person you are tagging will be notified about your post.
