WOW! Never had such a great welcome from any other forum.

Well, I have been scouring the dealerships and 'runnin numbers'. Seems that no one really even HAS my bike. Seems simple enough to me... 2008 Road King Classic with ABS in Vivid Black.

One dealership said they couldn't get one until the end of October. Another could get one from San Francisco, but not sure when it would arrive, and didn't know THE PRICE [thought that was kinda weird].

Gonna keep looking...

Thanks agains for the great welcome... BTW, love the pics of your AWESOME rides. Hope to post mine sometimed this YEAR! 8-]

I'm not a fan of paying stealers big bucks for little work, but there's quite a bit of work involved getting a bike from the crate to the showroom. They're far from being ready to ride. Just wait till you see what they charge for the maintence checks that are mainly fluid changes and checking to make sure bolts are tight. As someone else suggested, having a service manual and a basic set of tools will save you a lot of money.
