I just put a deposit on an '05 Roadking Classic and a buddy of mine suggested a set of bars that our dealer has...they are about 2-3" higher, 2" narrower, and they are pulled back a couple of inches from stock bars. They're not a beach bar (they're higher than that) but something in between. My buddy swears by them and the dealer says they're one of the most popular bars he sells. I know that sounds kind of vague but that's the best description I have. I think I'm going to try them. They're only $50. so if I don't like them I'm not out a lot. Hope this helps some.[8D]
If you find out a name for those bars and if you decide you like them, we would appreciate some more info. I also have a Road King Classic with stock bars which I find to be uncomfortable and have been looking for a different set of bars. I am short, 5'6", and put a Sundowner touring seat on my bike and that tends to sit me back more in the saddle and I find myself reaching out more and straight arm. Looking for something a little higher and comes back more.
