Thank you all for the replies. That's a lot of help about the Softail thread.
So, I'm a truck driver. Also an amateur blacksmith and "garage rocket scientist" if you know me...lolI was a machinist CNC programmer and mechanical engineer after serving 8 years in the Army, 1 full tour Iraq and 2 short deployments. I'm a dad and a grandfather, 4 kids, 3 grandkids. Married 20 years and a Norse ancestry enthusiast after a DNA test. I may make crazy stuff and post pictures of them occasionally as I have limited access to a CNC machine shop (my dad's company) and my neighbor has a few cool toys I'm helping him program. So...that's pretty much it, been riding motorcycles since I was tall enough to reach the controls, maybe 35 to 40 years.
