The introduction, as per the suggested protocol....
I've been a Harley affectionado for a looong time, and picked up an 03 FXDWG about 4 months ago to end 20 years of sidewalk commando status.
Her name is "Blondie", because I thought she might have head problems (burned valve) whern I first met her. Now she's just flashy and expensive to keep.
It might not be the best "fit" for me, but I just HAD to have a TC88 and got the best deal I could find at the time. I'm using it as a commuter vehicle (25 miles each way on mostly rural roads) and really wanted an FL model.... anyway... I'll post some specific questions in the Dyna forums.
and to answer the inevitable "why meathooks" question... I dunno. I asked that of my bud "Worm" one time and he just said "Someone looked at me and said 'you look like worm' and it just kindo stuck." Dont read anything into it.
Ride safe, but ride long.
