Hello from Central PA!
My wife and I each have our own bikes. I have an 02 Wide Glide and a 19 Heritage 114. She has a 21 Heritage 114. Sorry, the pictures below are not the best. We spend our time riding not searching for the best lighting or environment to take good pics.
We are "weekend warriors" I suppose. With work, we are usually limited to evening bike nights or weekend day trips. We do get away twice a year for bike rallies at Gettysburg and Ocean City to hang and ride with our friends.
Since our Heritage bikes are relatively new to us, we are in the baby steps of upgrades. Cosmetic mainly. Doing the upgrades in priority order and as $$ allows. She has done pipes, grips, pegs, floorboards. I've done new bars, grips and sissy bar & pad. My Wide Glide has become my tool-around-town toy since I have realized it is uncomfortable for anything over about 80 miles. Just a roll bag. Loud pipes. Vibrates like no ones business. I have made NO changes since purchasing, except for an engine guard. Old school and it's great! 38k miles and it still looks brand new.
Still a beauty

Just in case you have not done this and only as a suggestion....
Add a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike year, model, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with so others see at the bottom of all your post. This enables others to know your exact model if you ever ask a question.
And an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER set up for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post.
Your all set.... Enjoy the ride! ______________

SHE was the one who wanted to ride. I figured I better learn also or I'll be picking up cross stitch LOL But we are in a good place right now. She traded her Sportster for the Heritage and her comfort level is way up! I added the Heritage so I can take the long rides better in spite of my recent tailbone injury. I knew I would have regretted trading the Wide Glide. It is worth very little except to me.
I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, a rough idea of your range per tank, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding, and upwards of 230+ on trips.
Good Luck!!
