Hi folks,
Just found the forum and after looking at the boards I had to join. What a welth of information. After my last bike (we will call Brand X) I knew the next would be a Harley. I found an '02 Road King FLHR in March of this year and it was love at first sight. I have a 150 mile round trip to work so I figured "what a great excuse!" Since March we have traveled almost 18000 miles and we are getting along great. I do my own servicing so it was great to read the info on oils and preferences, you may have saved my transmission. I am looking forward to reading and maybe riding with you.

Most of us started out on Brand X. Then we came to our senses and got our Harleys. You are right, there is a wealth of information on this forum. We love to post what we know and show our bikes off. Things will really pick up now that it is getting so cold in most places.
Welcome!! Glad you found the forum, and it looks like you're really getting some saddle time outta the new bike! Congrats on the purchase, by the by. How about some pics? We get a little crazy about pics...
