Hi there! My name is Ty Curtis and I bought my first Harley Davidson motorcycle this last August. Since then I bought a sportser and a road king as well. What I am wondering, is my 91 fatboy just died and went blank last night except an occasional clicking sound and a big spark at the battery when I connect the cables as though something is on? I see two wires that aren't connected to anything in proximity of what I believe to be the ignition box. I thought maybe those were added by a previous owner. Idk. I just know that when I turn the switch to on I get nothing except that occasion clicking sound like maybe from a relay? I've owned a lot of goldmines and I am mechanically inclined, I just don't know anything about these motorcycles yet other than the are fun as he'll to ride.

Repost your questions using the drop down menu and with a short but good title about issue.

Quickly, modern bikes with alarms, ECM, BCM, FI, Radios, ECT will make a noticeable spark when you attach the negative wire which is always done last.
Lot of small miliamp on all the time. Alarm is the biggest but it tapers back after 30 seconds after set up.
Not sure what you have on that old bike. Need to put an amp meter in line and see what you have with key off. If you see a lot of draw, start removing the fuses and when draw stops, trace that circuit.
