Just joined your forum and thought I'd say Hello and introduce myself. I've been riding bikes since I was 15 (1968), and bought my first Harley in 00. A new/used Wide Glide. Allegedly, one of 5 custom built by Harley for that year. Might be true because nothing designed for a 00 Wide Glide fits on this bike. Everything has to be modified. Which is OK. I have about 17,000 miles on it, but haven't ridden it for the past 18 months. Surgery on the left knee and a whacked nerve in my right shoulder kept me off of it. All is well now, though, and I'm itching to get back on it again - even if the riding season here is nearly at an end. I'll post some pictures of the bike in the next week, or so. Just want to say 'Glad I found you guys'!
